ORQUESTA MUNDO NOUVOFronted by lauded, Cuban vocalist Ramon Terrada, this is Mundo Nouvo at full scale.
Eleven musicians make up this powerhouse unit that looks to stir your mind and hips. Songs include both classic Fania-era dance charts as well as originals that were inspired to tell the dance floor a story. With a three drummers, four horns, piano, bass, guitar and a lot of great singing this is a dynamic experience that can move anyone. |
JAZZ CLUB MUNDO NOUVODesigned for smaller settings, this version of the band customizes itself to anywhere from three to eight people to tap into its repertoire.
Equally adept at performing new charts in jazz clubs to folkloric material at local Art Festivals, this group can even be found around town playing timeless boleros in restaurants. |
CONCERT SERIES 2019Set in some of the best sounding venues in the KC-area, this series is crafted to specific themes and held on a seasonal basis.
Featuring members of the group as well as guest artists, this format helps to further our goal of elobarating on the musical legacies of Cuba and Haiti while connecting to an audience that may not make it to our other shows.
